"Old Stewart" White Bear Lake, MN
First constructed in 1889, the carpenter gothic church building on
Stewart Avenue is the oldest church building standing in White Bear Lake
MN. For more than 133 years it has been a community gathering place, and
continues to be so today. The current owners purchased it in early 2020
and began meticulous reconstruction to convert it into their private
residence preserving much of the original woodwork and structure. With
that, “Old Stewart” was conceived and re-born as a private residence
with a unique, intimate performance stage hosting private events
emphasizing giving back to the community through charitable fundraising.
