"Marine on St. Croix Village Hall", Marine on St. Croix, MN
The Village Hall was built in1888 in Marine Mills, one of the earliest
settlements on the St. Croix River. In 1912, Marine Mills changed its
name to Marine on St. Croix, a beautiful river town nestled on the
eastern banks of the St. Croix River. The Village Hall is the oldest village hall in
Minnesota that is still being used for governmental purposes and also
houses the community library.
Much of Marine on St. Croix is listed as a historic district on the
National Register of Historic Places. It’s a great destination for a
family outing.
